CoolCanucks Review of the Tea Galllerie!

Thursday, June 13th, 2013

Being huge tea drinkers at my house as well as at my parents, I just knew that I had to try all of the huge assortment of teas that Tea Gallerie carries! After coming across their website, my eyes literally popped when I saw many different mouthwatering flavors that I have never tried before!!

I was sent two delicious teas to sample, and as expected, they tasted just as good as described! I received one package in Passionfruit Black, as well as White Coconut Crème! My mother and I had a field-day experimenting with these 2 scrumptious flavors! Also, the packaging is so pretty, just like on their website!

At Tea Gallerie, you will find the best tea ever! They offer so many varieties of yummy teas that you can try for yourself, or even offer as gifts for your family and friends! Almost everyone that I know is a tea-lover, and now I have the perfect gift in mind for that person on my hard to buy for list!!

Choose from:

mate, dessert, oolong, black, green, white, herbal, pu-erh, Tea For Pregnancy, Tea For Her, Tea For Him, TEA SWEETS, TEAWARE, TEAPOT

You just cannot go wrong when shopping at the Tea Gallerie. Their prices are very reasonable, their customer service skills are phenomenal, and their delivery time was also beyond outstanding!

CoolCanucks Blog Contest – EnjoyingTea.com Review & Giveaway!!CLOSED

Saturday, July 10th, 2010

I don’t know about you, but I certainly love my tea! Tea offers us all an opportunity for quiet contemplation and shared moments of intimacy with friends, enabling us to reflect, be inspired and relax.

Coffee is important of course, but somehow life without tea is not something I want to imagine. So here I’m going to reveal many of the reasons I love tea; the ways that I think the world is a better place because of it!

When we talk about tea we naturally think of black tea, served with milk and/or sugar, made in a teapot and served in teacups. And there’s a correct way to hold the cup in polite society — pinky up!

However, tea is not just one drink, it is many. There are the true teas which derive from the tea plant. And then there are many other beverages, tisanes or herbal teas, that are tea-like drinks. These are also delicious!

enjoyingtea_2114_15648027

Tea is grown in many parts of the world, and in those places where it doesn’t grow it has been imported for so long that it is part of the culture, like in Britain for one example! Tea is able to adapt itself to any culture, truly a universal drink. That’s one reason why I think the world is a better place because of tea!

enjoyingtea_2114_98444240

Tea can be enjoyed indoors, or outside! Tea can be enjoyed alone or in the company of others. It can be drunk in the quiet solitude of one’s room, surrounded by the wonder of nature, or in the midst of the hustle and bustle of city life. Drinking a cup of tea provides an opportunity for quiet contemplation or shared moments of intimacy with others.

After stumbling upon EnjoyingTea.com on the lovely world wide web, I was beyond ecstatic when they agreed to a review and giveaway with CoolCanucks!

EnjoyingTea.com is a leading online retailer of quality tea, teabags, teapots, tea sets, and tea accessories. We were established in 2002 in the city of San Francisco.

The people at EnjoyingTea.com are dedicated to providing our customers with a complete tea experience. Along with our fine selections of tea, we also offer elegant tea sets and beautiful teapots. Not only will we offer a wonderful selection at a great value, but we also strive to educate on the many health benefits of tea. We will present interesting facts about tea and also show the many interesting application of tea.

EnjoyingTea.com stands for “Affordable Luxurious Enjoyment”.”

enjoyingtea_2114_95781706

If you need to take a break, relax, unwind, take time out from whatever’s making you busy and stressed, have a cup of tea! If it’s a chilly day, warm yourself up with a nice hot cup of tea. If you’re too hot, have a refreshing cup of tea, hot tea or iced tea, both seem to work!

When you meet with friends, a cup of tea always sets a good atmosphere. If you’re having an important meeting with colleagues, or people you don’t get along with so well, serving tea is a great idea. And when times are tough, a nice cup of tea always helps, always comforts.

enjoyingtea_2114_15595674

EnjoyingTea.com carries an extensive array of many different teas and teabags, as well as Tea Sets, Tea Pots, Tea Cups, and Tea Accessories! Online shopping with them is a complete snap as everything is so neatly categorized for your easy shopping convenience!

EnjoyingTea.com sent me a phenomenal Smart Tea Maker to review, along with 3 wonderful packages of tea! I really enjoyed the taste of the Earl Grey Tea, the English Breakfast Tea, and the Dragon Well Green Tea!!

enjoyingtea_2114_93597059

Tea is not just delicious, relaxing, yet refreshing, it’s also good for you.

Tea is high in antioxidants. These are molecules that slow or prevent the oxidation of other molecules. Oxidation reactions can produce free radicals, which start chain reactions that damage cells. So antioxidants reduce the number of free radicals, and thus benefit the body, protecting it from cancers and other diseases.

Tea without milk (or sugar, of course) has no calories. Drinking tea with milk adds calories, but there are benefits from the milk such as calcium and valuable minerals.

Although true teas contain caffeine (which is both good and bad), it contains much less than caffeine than coffee. Interestingly, the form of caffeine in tea seems to be different from that in coffee such that it doesn’t have its negative impact (buzz then let down), but rather is a delightfully refreshing drink!

I give EnjoyingTea.com a huge thumbs up, and recommend this wonderful company to everyone!!

The very kind and generous folks over at EnjoyingTea.com have graciously offered to give one lucky CoolCanucks reader the chance to win the exact same set that I was sent to review which is the Smart Tea Maker, along with 3 wonderful packages of tea! SWEET!!!!!

CoolCanucks Blog Contest ~ Sappho Cosmetics Review & Giveaway!!CLOSED

    Wednesday, June 16th, 2010

JoAnn Fowler is the brilliant make-up artist and business woman behind Sappho Cosmetics and the faces of many seemingly flawless celebs including the cast of Twilight and the L-Word!

While working in film and TV she decided to create a cosmetics line free of synthetic chemicals that would feel good and that wouldn’t compromise on colours. Its almost impossible to find toxic-free make-up, even in common mineral makeup that you assume is all-natural.

Jo wants you to know what you’re putting on your body, and Sappho Cosmetics is the safe natural alternative to makeup today!

“A new, green, eco conscious, organic based makeup line. Free of synthetic chemicals, Sappho Cosmetics are sexy and look and feel great on your skin. We have diligently searched for formulations made with ingredients that surpass the EU standards for safer cosmetics.

Each product has been chosen for it’s purity, ease of application, quality and beauty. We have found and developed products that we believe are truly wonderful…. packaged for utility and recyclability and made in North America. Some have organic content, some are vegan — all are cruelty, paraben and phthalate free.

In all cases, Sappho Cosmetics promises full disclosure of ingredients.”

Sappho Cosmetics the collection is used on the set of The L Word. The products include a chemical-free foundation, as well as a range of eyeshadows, eye liners, lipsticks, glosses, blushes, and powders in vibrant colours!

Sappho Cosmetics specifically does not use Parabens and Pfthalates. Parabens are used to preserve cosmetics, and pfthalates are used to soften and make cosmetics silky. Both have been linked to various forms of cancer. Sappho Cosmetics uses natural materials for their cosmetics and refuses to test their products on animals.

According to their website “Sappho Cosmetics is all about making up fearlessly. It’s about learning how to make up and being as daring as you please but even more importantly it’s about putting products on our faces and bodies that will not harm us.”

I had the extreme pleasure of being able to review these products, and was beyond impressed with them! I will be ordering more in the near future, and totally recommend Sappho Cosmetics to everyone!!

The very kind and generous JoAnn from Sappho Cosmetics has generously offered to give one very lucky CoolCanucks reader the chance to win the following from her website: A “Dare to MakeUp Fearlessly Cosmetic Package” which consists of ecoLuxurious cosmetics, which are hand coloured and 100% free of all synthetic chemicals! This will include a base (liquid or powder — as you wish), a setting powder, a pressed eyeshadow, a loose eyeshadow, a blush and a lip gloss! SWEET!!!!!
