I for one am a huge can­dle lover, espe­cially the scented ones. I have two dogs, and am con­tin­u­ally con­cerned about what my house smells like when guests walk in the door. I love my home to look and also smell warm and inviting.

The idea of my favorite can­dles being lit and unat­tended to though fright­ens me the most. One can sim­ply run to the bath­room for just a few min­utes and the dog hap­pens to waltz by and hits the lit can­dle which in turn falls onto the car­pet and a house fire begins! Oh boy the thought of that just makes me shudder!

There’s a spe­cial beauty and tran­quil­ity to can­dles, but a lighted can­dle is also an open flame, and a poten­tial fire haz­ard if not care­fully mon­i­tored. That is why I am so ecsta­tic to have found Scentsy Canada as the wor­ries are sud­denly taken away and it feels like a huge weight has been lifted! I had the absolute plea­sure of review­ing one of the Scentsy warm­ers a cou­ple of years ago which was the orig­i­nal warmer (as pic­tured above) and I thought that one was phe­nom­e­nal! I also received some heav­enly scented warmer bars to go with it, with Cran­berry Mango being my most favorite! The other scentsy warmer bars that I was so lucky to review were the Lucky in Love, and Sticky Cin­na­mon Bun. All of the scentsy scents fill your home with delight and one never has to worry about unat­tended can­dles because these Scentsy Warm­ers sim­ply plug right in!

Bar­bara Lee has been work­ing with spe­cial needs chil­dren for over 23 years. She cre­ated Crayon Rocks after being inspired by Jan Olsen, OTR, and the Hand­writ­ing With­out Tears pro­gram. Bar­bara learned how impor­tant it was to develop early a good tri­pod grip, as hand­writ­ing skills depends upon this.

“Since a child’s first writ­ing tool is usu­ally a crayon, that crayon should be one that encour­ages him or her to use thumb, first and sec­ond fin­gers in a tri­pod grip.  This is what makes Crayon Rocks a won­der­ful tool for fine motor development.”

Being that lit­tle Andi is soon to be 11 months old on the 12th of May, we have been bring­ing her swim­ming at the pub­lic pool when we attend mother and baby swim classes. It is never too early to teach your lit­tle one how to swim.

Aunty has given her a cou­ple of swim­suits, (both one piece and a bikini) but these hold no pro­tec­tion when your child has to go to the bath­room. I was recently intro­duced to Mon­key Doo­dlez Swim Dia­pers that I was so excited to be able to review! I chose one of these hot sell­ing swim dia­pers in hot pink for Andi, and in a size medium. It came a few days ago in the mail, and Thurs­days are the days that we attend these classes, so this was put to the test!
