CoolCanucks Blog Contest ~ Tropical Traditions All-Purpose Cleaner Review & Giveaway!!

Thursday, February 2nd, 2012

I was one who was sold on all of Tropical Traditions products since my very first review with them which was for their awesome  Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil.

Since then, I also reviewed and fell in love with their Dish Liquid which is Coconut oil based. Both of the products I reviewed from Tropical Traditions totally exceeded my expectations, and from that point on I knew I wanted to review more of these awesome products!

This time around I was ecstatic to receive a bottle of their hot selling Tropical Traditions All-Purpose Cleaner. Again, this product certainly did not disappoint and worked as excellently as I expected it to.

This fantastic Non-toxic household cleaner can be used for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry, for washing your car or even can be used as dish washing liquid! Wow!! I was so satisfied with it’s performance in and around my house! It claims to cut grease and oil as well, although I did not test it out on that as of yet. I did use it all over my kitchen countertops and appliances and it left a clean and shiny finish! It floored me when I sprayed in on stubborn mildew stains in my basement bathroom shower stall too! I let it sit for about 15 minutes and then gave it a good wipe, and voila! Stubborn gross mildew stains came off like a charm! I am super pleased with this product, and is safe to use around young children and pets!!

Here are some of the handy uses for this phenomenal product:

Safe & non-toxic, this solution is for all your household/commercial cleaning needs! Replace all of your harmful, toxic cleaners with Household Traditions All Purpose Cleaner! This environmentally safe botanical mixture contains no harmful detergents or solvents, no perfumes or dyes, and is easy to use! Household Traditions All Purpose Cleaner is an enzyme-based botanical formula that can cut through the toughest grease or dirt, and is completely non-toxic.

Spray Household Traditions All Purpose Cleaner on counter tops, stove tops, ovens, refrigerators and sinks and wipe clean. For more difficult areas, let sit for a longer period of time. May also be used as a dishwashing liquid in the sink or dishwasher. Put in soap dispenser or foamer and use for hand soap. Cuts grease, wax and oil.

Spray Household Traditions All Purpose Cleaner in the bathtub, sink and toilet. Wipe and rinse. Also spray on soap scum, mold and mildew; leave on for several minutes, then wipe and rinse clean.

Use 1–2 oz. Household Traditions All Purpose Cleaner in 1 gallon of water when washing car.

  • Exterior: For bugs, tree sap and tar, spray directly on the area. Let
sit for a few minutes, then wash off with water and a clean cloth. Works great
for removing grease, dirt & oil!
  • Tires: Spray directly on tires. Let sit several minutes, then gently
scrub with a brush and rinse clean.
  • Engine: Spray directly on cool engine. Let sit for up to 30 minutes,
    then wipe or spray clean.

Spray on fruits/vegetables, then rinse clean.

Pre-spray stains and spots with Household Traditions All Purpose Cleaner. Use 1–3 ounces in wash cycle. Heavily soiled or large loads: Pre-spray stains and spots. If especially greasy or soiled, allow to soak for at least 30 minutes or even overnight if necessary, then wash as normal. Works great for removing blood, grease, wax, dirt & oil!

Spray directly on surface and let sit for several minutes. Scrub with a brush and wipe clean with a damp cloth. Repeat if necessary.

Other Uses
Household Traditions All Purpose Cleaner can be used on carpets, walls, and floors. May also be used as carpet shampoo. (Substitute carpet shampoo with Household Traditions All Purpose Cleaner when cleaning.)

CoolCanucks Blog Contest ~ Tropical Traditions Coconut oil based Dish Liquid Review & Giveaway!!CLOSED

Thursday, December 15th, 2011

If you are anything like me, you hate doing dishes to begin with, but we all have to or nobody eats in the house unless you invest in thousands of paper plates. I am relatively picky when choosing my dish soap, and it has to be one that cuts through grease and actually cleans my dishes!

I had done a review last year for Tropical Traditions Coconut oil, and really enjoyed my jar that was put towards a whack of things like into baking, used in skin care products, etc! I was amazed with their coconut oil, and for all of the things that one can actually use it for!

This time around I requested to review their Dish Liquid which is Coconut oil based!

Household Traditions Dish Liquid is free of:

•Petroleum Solvents
•Respiratory and Skin irritants

The delivery time was spectacular! I received my dish liquid within just a few days, and I was definitely impressed!  I did a load of dishes with it as soon as it arrived and really liked it to be honest, and it did not have a bothersome or overwhelming scent. I found that this Household Traditions Dish Liquid was just as they claim it to be, low sudsing, safe on my skin, and cleaned my greasy dishes left in my sink from the night before! My dishes were squeaky clean! What more could you ask for? Another thing  that I noticed was how soft my hands were after using this product. Usually after doing dishes my hands feel itchy and dry so I have to use a lot of hand creams and lotions, but I did not have to do this with Tropical Traditions dish liquid. I was very pleased with the results and I will continue to use this product in my kitchen.  Just like the other Tropical Traditions product that I have tried, they have the best dish soap in my personal opinion as it is top quality and no exception to the other product reviewed by their company! I would have to give a huge kudos to another great product from Tropical Traditions! This company rocks!!

Another thing that I just recently noticed on the Tropical Traditions website is that they have a Free Coconut Recipes section that were all kitchen tested, tried and true! It’s so astounding when you see the thousands of uses there is for coconut oil! It is used in baking, household cleaners, cosmetics and so much more!

Thanks to the very kind and generous folks over at Tropical Traditions, 1 very lucky CoolCanucks reader has the chance to win one quart of their wonderful dish liquid as well! SWEET!!!!!
