I don’t know about you, but when I have guests over and am set­ting out hors d’oeuvres, I like my platter’s of food to look pretty and set out beau­ti­fully. No mat­ter how many times I have cut a brick of cheese, it never ends up look­ing pretty on the plate after using just a stan­dard knife.

Thank Heav­ens for The Cheese Knife, now my cheese looks per­fect and I no longer have to worry being the per­fec­tion­ist that I truly am!

The Cheese Knife was cre­ated in the early 1940’s by Harold Joseph Fairchild at his firm, Fairchild Engi­neer­ing, and was designed specif­i­cally to cut his favorite cheese, Velveeta, so that it would not stick to the knife.  Fancy cheeses were not exis­tent in this coun­try and if they were, most of us could not afford them. 

 Harold designed mil­i­tary devices for the US Gov­ern­ment dur­ing WW Two.  He was a grad of Ohio State Uni­ver­sity who was born in 1904.”

I was sent a Multi-pack of these great cheese knives con­sist­ing of one large and one small. They are beyond out­stand­ing, and I love them so much! Orig­i­nally designed as a soft cheese knife. The tech­nol­ogy also works well for cut­ting but­ter, boiled eggs, cake, and any­thing which would stick to ordi­nary knife blades.

They are made of Ultem Resin and have a heat resis­tance to 430F. They are stain resis­tant, dish­washer safe, have a soft com­fort grip, are FDA approved, and are made in the USA!

      I would like to have the Cheese Knife because it keeps the cheese on the plate, not on the knife. Seems to me to be a great invention!

      I would love the cheese knife because not only does it make it look nice, I love how its easy to use, dish­washer safe…I am for­ever cut­ting up cheese for my 21 month old…he is crazy over cheese!! This would just make my life so much easier.

      I would love to have this because I hate the sticky, icky stuff left on the knife after cut­ting cheese, the dif­fi­culty in cut­ting cheese nicely AND because the knives are dish­washer safe (major plus!)

      I liked their video which clearly shows cheese doesn’t stick to the knife. This would be an excel­lent knife to have for cut­ting any cheesy dish and I could def­i­nitely use one in my kitchen.
