SPREADING THE LOVE ONE SPOONFUL AT A TIME
Nature’s Path Empowers Consumers to Fight Against Hunger with New Love Crunch Granola
Richmond, BC– Where’s the love? Nature’s Path Organic Foods is supporting Food Banks Canadaby bringing the love to your breakfast table, and to people in need across the country. Nature’s Path Love Crunch, a delicious dark chocolate granola, is a limited edition cereal that helps consumers take part in the fight against hunger. Inspired by a true-life love story and philanthropic endeavor, for each box of Nature’s Path Love Crunch sold, another box is donated to Food Banks Canada*.
Born out of love and a passion for both cereal and philanthropy, Love Crunch was created by Arjan Stephens, Executive VP of Sales and Marketing for Nature’s Path and son of Nature’s Path’s founder, and his wife, Rimjhim as a wedding favor for those who helped celebrate their marriage. In lieu of wedding gifts, the two asked that their guests do a volunteer community project and post to a project page which they aptly named “The Experience Giving Project.” The result was countless acts of kindness and good in local communities worldwide.
The couple and Nature’s Path then joined forces to bring this wedding favor to life as a tasty cereal that will help change our communities one spoonful at a time. “We at Nature’s Path are so excited to see this project come to life as it is near and dear to our hearts,” said Arjan Stephens, Vice President of Marketing and Product Innovation for Nature’s Path. “By purchasing Love Crunch you can experience giving by helping fellow Canadians who are struggling to put food on their tables.”
Nature’s Path Love Crunch is the perfect marriage between the whole grain goodness of flax granola; the sweetness of strawberries and the tartness of raspberries; and the decadence of coconut and dark chocolate chunks. Like all Nature’s Path products, it is certified organic, which means it doesn’t contain artificial preservatives, additives, genetically modified organism (GMOs) or synthetic pesticides. Love Crunch also bears the new Non GMO Project Verified Seal, which lets consumers know that the product has passed a rigorous, independent verification process and is the best choices in order to avoid genetically modified organisms (GMOs).

Cereals and grains play a large part in most people’s diets. Cereals can be both nutritious and delicious.
What is “organic”? Organic means food that is grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides and chemical fertilizers.
Why eat organic vs. conventional grown foods?
Some reasons are:
•higher nutritional content
•less toxins
•better quality
•better taste
