CoolCanucks Blog Contest ~ Barefoot Books Review & Giveaway!!*CLOSED*

This holiday season you may want to buy a few presents for the children in your lives. Books as you know are a great way to introduce children to the rest of the world and to the possibilities of the imagination.
I had the chance of reading and reviewing a few children’s books by Barefoot Books and to view some of the other books they publish.  What impressed me about this publishing company is that they have books that will bring your children on a journey through different cultures and parts of the world.  They also invite regular folks to represent their company so that a person can run a small business promoting these books.

Barefoot Books create beautiful books, CDs and other products that offer high educational value and are lots of fun. They’re designed to last, but above all, they are meant to be shared and enjoyed – by children, parents and educators – with their celebration of art and story.

You can find all sorts of Books for any age group at Barefoot Books, as well as book/CD Combo’s! They also sell building blocks, adorable Puppets, Puzzles, and wonderful fascinating gift sets too!

I was sent to review 4 Wonderful books that the little ones loved immensely! Enclosed were “The Barefoot Book of Pirates” (with StoryTime CD), “The Animal Boogie” (with Singalong CD), “The Gigantic Turnip” (with Storytime CD), and “I Took the Moon for a Walk”.

   

These books are so colourful and durable, and were definately a hit at my house!! The kids sat and listened attentively while viewing the books at the same time! They are so fun and educational!!

The words are big enough so that you don’t have to hold the book up to your face to read the story, but not too large that they take away from the picture.  I’m telling you, these books are great!

Another thing that I really like is that the kids in the story are from various races, including Caucasian, Asian, African-America, and Hispanic.  I like that Barefoot Books has incorporated different races into one book.

   

I would recommend these books to anyone and will be buying some more in the future.  It’s an invaluable way to teach your children about all different places, people, animals, and many other things in the world.

      I subscribe and follow through google friend connect and my three fav books is magic train ride, port side pirates and never say boo to a goose. I don’t know so many aren’t paying att’n to the rules, but I can understand. Those who follow multiple blogs and enter giveaways, are used to your 1st entry – at least the second or third part being voluntary, an extra entry if they CHOOSE to follow your blog and receive your updates. they just don’t know how cool your blog is I guess.
