CoolCanucks Blog Contest ~ Tropical Traditions All-Purpose Cleaner Review & Giveaway!!

I was one who was sold on all of Trop­i­cal Tra­di­tions prod­ucts since my very first review with them which was for their awe­some  Trop­i­cal Tra­di­tions Gold Label Vir­gin Coconut Oil.

Since then, I also reviewed and fell in love with their Dish Liq­uid which is Coconut oil based. Both of the prod­ucts I reviewed from Trop­i­cal Tra­di­tions totally exceeded my expec­ta­tions, and from that point on I knew I wanted to review more of these awe­some products!

 

 

 

This time around I was ecsta­tic to receive a bot­tle of their hot sell­ing Trop­i­cal Tra­di­tions All-Purpose Cleaner. Again, this prod­uct cer­tainly did not dis­ap­point and worked as excel­lently as I expected it to.

This fan­tas­tic Non-toxic house­hold cleaner can be used for kitchens, bath­rooms, laun­dry, for wash­ing your car or even can be used as dish wash­ing liq­uid! Wow!! I was so sat­is­fied with it’s per­for­mance in and around my house! It claims to cut grease and oil as well, although I did not test it out on that as of yet. I did use it all over my kitchen coun­ter­tops and appli­ances and it left a clean and shiny fin­ish! It floored me when I sprayed in on stub­born mildew stains in my base­ment bath­room shower stall too! I let it sit for about 15 min­utes and then gave it a good wipe, and voila! Stub­born gross mildew stains came off like a charm! I am super pleased with this prod­uct, and is safe to use around young chil­dren and pets!!

 

 

 

Here are some of the handy uses for this phe­nom­e­nal product:

 

Safe & non-toxic, this solu­tion is for all your household/commercial clean­ing needs! Replace all of your harm­ful, toxic clean­ers with House­hold Tra­di­tions All Pur­pose Cleaner! This envi­ron­men­tally safe botan­i­cal mix­ture con­tains no harm­ful deter­gents or sol­vents, no per­fumes or dyes, and is easy to use! House­hold Tra­di­tions All Pur­pose Cleaner is an enzyme-based botan­i­cal for­mula that can cut through the tough­est grease or dirt, and is com­pletely non-toxic.

Kitchens
Spray House­hold Tra­di­tions All Pur­pose Cleaner on counter tops, stove tops, ovens, refrig­er­a­tors and sinks and wipe clean. For more dif­fi­cult areas, let sit for a longer period of time. May also be used as a dish­wash­ing liq­uid in the sink or dish­washer. Put in soap dis­penser or foamer and use for hand soap. Cuts grease, wax and oil.

 

Bath­rooms
Spray House­hold Tra­di­tions All Pur­pose Cleaner in the bath­tub, sink and toi­let. Wipe and rinse. Also spray on soap scum, mold and mildew; leave on for sev­eral min­utes, then wipe and rinse clean.

Auto­mo­biles
Use 1–2 oz. House­hold Tra­di­tions All Pur­pose Cleaner in 1 gal­lon of water when wash­ing car.

• Exte­rior: For bugs, tree sap and tar, spray directly on the area. Let
  sit for a few min­utes, then wash off with water and a clean cloth. Works great
  for remov­ing grease, dirt & oil!
• Tires: Spray directly on tires. Let sit sev­eral min­utes, then gen­tly
  scrub with a brush and rinse clean.
• Engine: Spray directly on cool engine. Let sit for up to 30 min­utes,
  then wipe or spray clean.

Fruits/Vegetables
Spray on fruits/vegetables, then rinse clean.

Laun­dry
Pre-spray stains and spots with House­hold Tra­di­tions All Pur­pose Cleaner. Use 1–3 ounces in wash cycle. Heav­ily soiled or large loads: Pre-spray stains and spots. If espe­cially greasy or soiled, allow to soak for at least 30 min­utes or even overnight if nec­es­sary, then wash as nor­mal. Works great for remov­ing blood, grease, wax, dirt & oil!

Soot/Tar/Grease/Grills
Spray directly on sur­face and let sit for sev­eral min­utes. Scrub with a brush and wipe clean with a damp cloth. Repeat if necessary.

Other Uses
House­hold Tra­di­tions All Pur­pose Cleaner can be used on car­pets, walls, and floors. May also be used as car­pet sham­poo. (Sub­sti­tute car­pet sham­poo with House­hold Tra­di­tions All Pur­pose Cleaner when cleaning.)

As many of you know already, I am a huge fan of try­ing to coax every­body that I know to live a greener life. Going green is not as hard as one thinks, it can be done very eas­ily. Less waste, less cost, and less of leav­ing a foot­print on mother earth. I find all of this very impor­tant, as should you.

Instead of uti­liz­ing dis­pos­able water bot­tles, get refill­able stain­less steel, alu­minum, or bio-plastic bot­tles for tap water and organic bev­er­ages. Break­ing the dis­pos­able bot­tled water habit reduces the use of fos­sil fuels and toxic green­house gases that result from man­u­fac­tur­ing plas­tic bot­tles, most of which end up as land­fill waste which is really sad.

 

 

 

When buy­ing refill­able water bot­tles, choos­ing bot­tles made from stain­less steel is prob­a­bly your best choice. Go for the ones that don’t con­tain bisphe­nol A (BPA) such as those at Eco Ves­sel which are 100% recy­clable and they are BPA Free products!

Recy­cling is an action you must take right now and a vital one con­sid­er­ing we are cur­rently using our planet’s resources faster than they can be renewed. Today, tonight and tomor­row recy­cling is an ongo­ing aware­ness to improve our abil­ity to sus­tain life on Earth. Your role in recy­cling can be as small or large as you want it to be. Most things can be recy­cled today, even with our present pro­cess­ing systems.

CoolCanucks Blog Contest ~ Board Book Albums, LLC Giveaway!

If you are any­thing like me, you are usu­ally com­pletely dis­or­ga­nized, espe­cially when it comes to pho­tographs! I am guilty of hav­ing draw­ers full of loose pic­tures every­where, and not care­fully tucked away in a pretty album like most peo­ple. I often think of buy­ing more albums to keep my mem­o­ries stored away neatly, but it usu­ally slips my mind like every­thing else.

We often travel, and I have 1000’s of pho­tos that need to be put into albums and neatly cat­e­go­rized, I admit it. I also have a huge fam­ily, and tons of my nieces and nephews are con­tin­u­ally hav­ing babies, which cre­ates more pic­tures and fan­tas­tic mem­o­ries. Thank Heav­ens for Board Book Albums!

“In Jan­u­ary 2007, when my daugh­ter Lucia was a year old, we real­ized that she was some­what behind her peers in meet­ing cer­tain devel­op­men­tal mile­stones. We began hav­ing reg­u­lar ses­sions with a phys­i­cal ther­a­pist and an early learn­ing spe­cial­ist. It was amaz­ing to see how much progress Lucia made very quickly! By age 2, she began walk­ing well and try­ing to say lots of words. In order to encour­age her speech devel­op­ment, the early learn­ing spe­cial­ist (who is like a speech ther­a­pist, but works with chil­dren before they begin to talk) sug­gested that I find Lucia a photo album to fill with pho­tos of her fam­ily, toys, and other famil­iar objects in her world. When I was unable to find a kid-friendly photo album, I came up with the idea to cre­ate a board book photo album. This album has been a won­der­ful learn­ing tool for Lucia. She loves to turn the pages and look at pho­tos of her fam­ily, toys, and other famil­iar objects in her world. Stud­ies have shown that young chil­dren only have object recog­ni­tion with pho­tos. This means that before the age of two, they can not relate a draw­ing of an object with the actual object, but they can relate a photo of the object with the actual object.”

 

 

 

One sug­ges­tion which would make a fan­tas­tic baby shower gift is to pur­chase sev­eral albums and dec­o­rate them but leave the pho­tos for mom to add through­out the year. Each album could mark a spe­cial mile­stone or col­lec­tion like “First Christ­mas”, “Me and my Dad”, “I love my Nana and Papa”, “First Trip to the Beach”, etc. Often moms are over­whelmed with tak­ing care of the baby the first year and although many pic­tures are taken, few actu­ally make it into albums. This would be a won­der­ful gift — pre-organized, dec­o­rated and a won­der­ful col­lec­tion of memories!!
