After years of drinking only King Cole tea because of the gauze tea bags I was very upset when I recently purchased a box of the 240 bags only to discover that the tea bags are no longer gauze. I changed from Red Rose tea years ago when they got rid of the gauze tea bag and went to King Cole so now I have to find another brand of tea that comes in a gauze bag. BAD MOVE KING COLE! WHAT AN AWFUL THING TO DO. Very disappointed in Nova Scotia, Canada

I’ve just opened a box of 240 bags and to my shock the bags are no longer gaze but PAPER! I’ll have to look for another brand with gaze bags.

I started drinking your tea by taking sips of tea from my grandmother over fifty years ago.Yes we used tea a strainer and was quite sometime before bags came along. I enjoyed the gauze bags,however dislike the paper bags,i find an after taste to my tea,I was loyal king cole fan.but sadly will be looking for my next supplier,Thankyou for many great cups of tea

I drink approx. 5–7 cups of tea a day and have been using King Cole for 44 yrs. I remember when I was a child my Mom used to send the Christmas pkg to my aunt in Boston and she always included 3–4 boxes of KC teabags (240’s) because my aunt couldn’t get the King Cole in the States. I recently noticed that the teabags are now paper. I like my gauze teabags and sadly will have to find another brand of tea. I am wondering why the sudden switch to paper after all these years????? I am very very disappointed. I imagine many others are too.

I wonder why companies seek to “improve” what has already been perfected??? I guess I could dump the tea out and steep it loose.. what a pain that is going to be. I supposed I could get into reading tealeaves lol.. Seriously I don’t know why they can’t leave well enough alone.

Although a coffee drinker at heart I choose King Cole over the competition since they use gauze & not paper bags.A good cup of tea starts with the product & ends with that first taste.Steaming hot & brewed with flavor in mind.King Cole I applaud you for not changing a good thing to save a few dollars.Paper tea bags are utterly disgusting & I cannot believe that the others just do not get it.However, King Cole remains loyal to it’s customers & not just the bottom line.Cheers for making what I feel is Canada’s,if not the world’s best cup of tea.

My Husband and I drink the King all the time, at one time I tried to fool him by buying a different kind of tea and putting it in the tea container and his comment was that what is wrong with this tea it is not King Cole, so my little trick didn’t work. When it comes to his King he knows the difference.

I agree with the complaint about the paper bags. They are not as good as the gauze bags but we use them anyway. Wish you would go back to the old way.…it can’t be that much more expensive.

I’m disappointed that the change was made to paper tea bags instead of gauze. But no matter, I’ll drink it just the same. I always drank King Cole tea since I was about 14 and now I’m 65. Too late to change now. I love King Cole.
