2 years ago I installed a geothermal heating system in my backyard which included excavating 3 trenches, 150 feet long. Although the result has reduced my carbon foot print considerably it has left back your in need of renovation.

We are moving into a new home in mid July, in Ottawa. There will be nothing done to the backyard. Because my husband is in the military, we have moved around so often and this is our last home, we will be staying there for a long time and I would like to make the backyard a very special, relaxing place for us. We have purchase some stone from Home Hardware before and they gave us a great price and were very knowledgable of the product. I will deffinetly goes back there and price out supply. After purchasing a home, the budget for the yard is very low and having some help would be fantastic. I have a blank slate to play with and lots of dream to work on, I am a DIY fan and I know I can do a fabulous job with your help. Thank you for your consideration.

We have a property on the river north of Toronto over the years the water is taking away our yard our goal was to build a retaingwall to stop the water from eating our yard.……a couple of years ago we had a major flood 27″ of water in livingroom so all our resorces went into rasing our home to avoid any further damage.…My wish list is to have a yard that will last years to come my theyme was notical but we can seem to get a handle on it.
This year we lost another tree to the river.….….Please consider us.….…and make our waterfront look breathtaking to all whom ride the river.

    Regards,
    Lucien

This would be the ultimate house warming gift. We bought a house for Chirtmas, and they took out alot of the playgrounds for my 2 yr old son to play in. Would love to turn our backyard into a great play area for him, his birthday is in August it would be great for his first birthday party. My husband and me know we never win anything but we can always dream, but maybe the little guy will bring us some luck. And help encourage St.Thomas, Ontario, to bring back the parks. Hope whomever you pick the best, good luck everyone.

My wife and I had a Universal Design house buildt specifically for her needs. Our lot is an acre, our house takes up half of the property. She is born physically challenged, she has walking mobility concern. At the end of her working day, being inside most of her day it would be wonderful for her to independantly walk on interlocking brick walk way in the backyard. Enjoy a fire pit, look after flowers in raised flower beds. Her physically challenged friends would enjoy the yard and also be independant. We have a few trees in the yard, across the street are horses, behind us is a golf course. We sure look forward to the opportunity of this worthwhile project. Good luck to all.

I bought a home a couple of years ago an acreage wtih bout 11 acres but unfortunely my relationship ended and i’ve been maintaining my yard but have no extra money to work on my yard. i am a single woman with 2 jobs and would like to be able to enjoy a nice new back yard where i could entertain friends and family. i had a bad storm here and i got some damage my dog’s house flew bout 40 feet so he’s homeless too and winter is coming. Right now it everything is old, plain and falling apart have no help to fix it. i can see potential in my home but only have 2 hands and a modest pocketbook. it would be awesome if i had this opppurtunity for a backyard makeover
