I had the plea­sure of being able to review the Squishy Toes Shower Mat and I just love it! I had prob­lems over the years find­ing a shower mat that would not cover the drain and yet cover enough of the shower space so I wouldn’t slip as sham­poo and soap hit the floor. Squishy Toes works great for me. I have a no-slip sur­face that pro­vides me with a sense of secu­rity and is envi­ron­men­tally friendly to boot! Also being a fre­quent trav­eler, I was sur­prised by how well this prod­uct worked when I took it along with me for a trip. Highly recommended!

It’s a large 15″ x 17″ sponge that’s made from plant based cel­lu­lose – a renew­able resource. When it’s dry, it’s flat and hard – easy to store and easy to tote with you.  When it’s wet, it plumps up into a thick sponge that is super com­fort­able on your feet and can keep you from slip­ping on a slick shower sur­face. I just wring it out and let it dry between uses and can use it over and over again!! It’s just thick enough to pro­vide cush­ion and com­fort while pro­vid­ing a safe, slip-resistant sur­face. I think it’s a great product.

Dif­fer­ence Between Smelly Washer & Smelly Towel:
Smelly Washer Cleaner is for an empty washer and Smelly Towel is for a washer with tow­els and cloth­ing in it. In short, Smelly Towel Cleaner was made specif­i­cally for tow­els and cloth­ing. Its gen­tle for­mula is designed to remove odor-causing mold from tow­els and cloth­ing.  It’s citrus-based for­mula leaves your tow­els and cloth­ing smelling like they are new!

Why Tow­els Build Up Mold, Mildew, and Odor:
Overuse of deter­gents, using fab­ric soft­ener and/or using only low water tem­per­a­tures for wash­ing will cause odor in your washer.  The odor-causing residue and mold spores are trans­ferred to tow­els and cloth­ing and are impos­si­ble to remove until the washer has been cleaned. Tow­els are more plush than cloth­ing there­fore absorb more mold spores.  Also, tow­els are used near the face and when wet so odor is noticed more.

How to Use – Wash a full load of tow­els or cloth­ing with hot water and add 1 level cap (1 TBSP) of Smelly Towel Cleaner in place of Deter­gent. More extreme cases may need to soak for 2 hours to com­pletely remove odor.
